Believing that the hospital
has real need of my services as a Volunteer:
I will be punctual and
conscientious in the fulfillment of my responsibilities and will
accept supervision graciously
I will conduct myself
with dignity, courtesy and consideration for others.
I will consider as confidential
all information that I may hear directly or indirectly concerning
a patient, a doctor, another Volunteer or any member of the hospital.
I will not seek information in regard to a patient.
I will take my problems,
criticisms or suggestions to the Auxiliary President or the Manager
of Volunteer Services.
I will endeavor to make
my services of the highest quality.
I will uphold the traditions
and standards of this hospital and will interpret them to the community
at large.
